Seed Plant - Anthurium Versicolor
Pollen Plant - Anthurium Warocqueanum (Dark Form)
Batch ID “Venus” represents the second primary hybrid we have made using versicolor as the seeding plant. Using a stunning dark from of Warocqueanum as the pollen donor, we hope to produce an interesting batch of seedlings with long dark foliage and the unique veining / ribbing of Anthurium versicolor. A. Versicolor has proved a potent ingredient in hybrids such as “Circus Peanuts,” where Dressleri was used. We are keen to see how it combines with The Queen. The name “Venus” references the goddess of love, beauty, desire, sex, fertility, prosperity, and victory. We felt this was a fitting name for the offspring of our stunning dark Queen!
Seeds are available in packs of 2 or 4 - image of seeds is indicative of the level of germination (not necessarily the seeds you will receive). Seeds will be sent germinated. Please read through our terms and conditions regarding seed sales prior to purchasing.
As with all pollinations, strict practices are in place to avoid unintentional pollinators interfering with select pairings, however this cannot be guaranteed 100%. We cannot guarantee buyers success in growing seeds beyond germination stage.
