Anthurium “Raven”
Seed Plant - Anthurium “Onyx” select (PxD JS x Black Sensation)
Pollen Plant - (Papillilaminum x Dressleri JS
The mother plant to this cross is a special plant in the Plantska collection. It is the result of a very low yield pairing of PxD (JS) to the classic Australian Dressleri x Forgetii. No seeds were released from this batch (apart from one lucky person), and this was the best of the batch. The plant displays beautiful shape with dark colour and “body builder” type interstitial veining. The lucky recipient of seeds from this batch also coined the batch “La Beouf”, and hence this new batch being called OX.
The pollen donor is a beautiful form of Papillilaminum with dark mauve emergent leaves that harden to dark green. We think the pairing will produce some stunning seedlings and future plants.
